The Standard AK Gearbox Drive built by InMac-Kolstrand is the Premiere drive for your Gillnet Drum or Longline Reel. Internal Clutch and Brake assemblies allow the operator to control pay-out and haul-in functions easily and smoothly, making the InMac-Kolstrand AK Gearbox Drive the only gearbox you'll ever want on your boat!


The AK Gearbox Drive has a 5:1 Reduction Gear Ratio which develops 20,200 in. lb. (maximum torque) @ 1500 PSI, along with 28 Drum Shaft Revolutions per Minute (RPM) when 15 Gallons per Minute (GPM) is delivered to the Hydraulic Motor. By Installing the InMac-Kolstrand AK Gearbox onto your drum, and if your drum has a 15 Inch Diameter Barrel Core, you'll experience the thrill of pulling your gear with over 2,700 Lbs of line pull!

      New Steel Pillow Block Bearing and New Drum Flange is included with every AK Gearbox Shipment (Stainless Steel Pillow Block Bearing is available as an Option-See Above). 


      Heavy-duty design incorporates Needle and Ball Bearings throughout. Comes standard with 5:1 Gear Ratio and CharLynn 'H' Setries Hydraulic Motor.
